Its spinning out of control
The power and force that we
Place on peoples without consent.
Who are we to engage in this battle?
Are all of our people free?
Free from poverty? Hunger?
Violence? Abuse? Slander? Hatred?
When we look in the mirror do we see
Perfection?

The protector of the free world
Has taken into her hands the world
Not in protection - but
Greed
Anger
Hatred
Vengence

There are angry and brutal leaders
Across the globe
Yet we seek one out without support
From the union we chose to join.
Arrogance is what we are consumed by
Falling deeper and deeper into the pit of tyranny.

Who will stop us?
When will we realize that we have crossed the line
Into a world and territory we don't belong
Not now - not in this way.
